Install and prepare your account

Open the official HarmanVPN Google Play listing and check the publisher and compatibility shown for your device. Install the app and complete its account steps. Free access, an introductory promotion and a paid subscription can have different terms. Review the plan assigned to your account before connecting.

Why Android asks for permission

Android asks for user approval for a VPN connection. Read the prompt and approve only the app you intended to install. This approval is separate from buying a subscription. Another VPN or a managed work profile can affect connection behaviour; do not change organisational settings at random.

Choose a location and check the result

Select a location marked as available and connect. Do not confuse planned locations with active servers. Wait for confirmation that the connection is established: tapping the button alone is not evidence of success. Disconnect through the app when you are finished.

If the connection fails

First check that your internet works with the VPN disabled. Then try another active location and, if possible, test Wi-Fi and mobile data separately. Instead of repeatedly reinstalling, record the error message, time, app version and device model. Do not share passwords or private browsing history with support.
