What does the free plan mean?
HarmanVPN offers free access alongside paid Premium subscriptions. Free use may include advertising and usage limits. Check the plan and remaining allowance displayed in your account before relying on it for a long session.
An introductory Premium promotion is different from the ongoing free plan. Eligibility, duration and the benefits shown in the app determine what applies to your account. A promotion should not be treated as a promise of permanent unlimited access.
Get started on Android
Use the official store listing so you can check the publisher, device compatibility and available updates.
- Download HarmanVPN from its Google Play listing and open the app.
- Follow the account setup instructions and review the plan shown in your account.
- Choose an available location and tap the connection button. Review the Android VPN permission prompt before accepting it.
- Wait for the app to confirm that the connection is established. When finished, disconnect using the app.
Free or Premium: which should you choose?
Start with the free plan if you want to check how the app behaves on your own network. If you need the Premium benefits shown in the app, compare the monthly and yearly offers before purchasing.
The Google Play purchase screen shows the applicable price, currency and subscription terms for your account. Use that screen to verify renewal details rather than assuming that a price displayed in another country applies to you.
A VPN has limits
A VPN changes the network path for traffic routed through its tunnel. It does not make your device anonymous, remove information you give to websites or protect you from every malicious download.
Keep your device updated, check website addresses and continue using HTTPS. Read the privacy policy to understand account information and operational data separately from browsing activity.
Questions about free VPN use
Is a free VPN always unlimited?
No. Free plans can have usage limits and advertising. Check the current allowance and plan details in your HarmanVPN account.
Does installing the app mean I bought Premium?
Downloading the app and purchasing a paid subscription are different steps. Review your account and the Google Play purchase confirmation to see which plan applies.
Will a VPN always make my internet faster?
No. Speed depends on your network, route and server conditions. Compare your connection with and without the VPN under similar conditions.
