Trust and accuracy

Editorial Policy

This policy describes how informational HarmanVPN content is prepared, reviewed, updated, and corrected.

Purpose and scope

Articles are provided for general information about HarmanVPN products and VPN-related concepts. They are not a substitute for professional legal, security, or risk advice.

Marketing language must remain consistent with verified product behavior and must not take priority over technical facts.

Technical review and sources

Technical claims are checked before publication against the current product behavior and available documentation.

Primary and official sources are preferred when they are available. Sources are checked for relevance, authority, and whether they support the specific statement being made.

Updates and corrections

The modified date changes only when an article receives a meaningful content update. Deployments, builds, and file timestamps do not create editorial update dates.

Older content may be reviewed, corrected, clarified, or withdrawn when product behavior or reliable source information changes.

VPN limitations

A VPN can protect traffic between a device and the VPN service in supported use, but it does not provide absolute anonymity or absolute security.

Device security, account practices, browser behavior, destination services, and other systems remain relevant to a user’s overall privacy and security.
