HarmanVPN for iOS is now live on the App Store. Our Android app is also available on Google Play. iPhone and Android users can join HarmanVPN on their own devices and connect to VPN locations marked as available in the app. Here is where to download the official app, how to make your first connection and what to expect from the available plans.
App Store for iPhone, Google Play for Android
Use the App Store on iPhone and Google Play on Android. Both official links are provided below. HarmanVPN requires iOS 15.0 or later on iPhone, or Android 7.0 or later on Android devices. Check your store listing for the current compatibility and availability information for your device and region.
Installing through the official store also gives you a clear place to get future updates. Use the HarmanVPN links on this page rather than similarly named apps in search results.
How to make your first VPN connection
- Download and open HarmanVPN from the store for your device.
- Create an account or sign in, and complete email verification for a new account.
- Choose a VPN location shown as available in the app.
- Tap Connect and approve the system VPN permission prompt on your first connection.
- Wait for the app to confirm that you are connected. When finished, disconnect using the same button.
The permission screens can look different on iOS and Android. Notification preferences, VPN permission and subscription authorization are separate actions. Approving the VPN permission prompt alone does not start a Premium subscription.
Choose between Free and Premium
The HarmanVPN Free plan includes 1 GB of VPN usage per month and may show ads. Premium provides unlimited VPN usage and an ad-free experience. Both plans have access to the same active VPN locations. Locations marked as coming soon are not yet available for connection.
Check your current allowance in your account and compare monthly and yearly prices on the Premium screen. Android subscriptions are managed through Google Play, while iOS subscriptions are managed through the App Store. Use the subscription settings in the store where you purchased your plan to manage cancellation or renewal.
Seven days free, then a first paid month offer
Eligible new monthly subscribers who verify their email can use the in-app welcome offer to receive seven days of Premium free, followed by one paid month at the discounted price. After the offer, the subscription renews automatically at the regular monthly price. The first paid month is US$0.99 in the U.S. storefront; Türkiye and other storefronts use localized prices. The yearly plan is not part of this monthly promotion.
The offer depends on account and store eligibility. On iOS, follow the campaign steps in the app through to Apple’s offer confirmation. Both platforms require a valid payment method and store subscription authorization. Before confirming, check the free period, the first paid month and the subsequent renewal price. To avoid a charge, cancel within the deadline shown by your store.
Connection help and next steps
HarmanVPN lets you choose a location, manage your connection and track your allowance. The in-app Private Browser provides temporary browsing sessions. Connect to the VPN first to route that browsing session through the VPN connection.
If you cannot connect, first check your internet with the VPN disabled, then try another active location. Your device model, app version and error message help support investigate a problem; you do not need to share your password.
